In terms of our staff, there are 172 in total. 23of them are professors,64 associate professors,  6 doctoral supervisors, and 37 master supervisors. Among them, there are 1 National Model Teacher, 1 National Candidate for Thousands of Talents Project, 1 person from the New Century Talent Support Program of the Ministry of Education, 1 person from the Outstanding Youth Fund in Shandong Province, 1 person from the Excellent Youth Fund in Shandong Province  1 young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions,1 Taishan scholar young expert, 1 Xiangjiang scholar, and 3 outstanding innovation teams in Shandong Province.
        There are 910 undergraduates and 91 postgraduates are studying in the School of Science now. The School of Science consists of 4 undergraduate majors: Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, Information and Computational Science, Applied Physics, and Engineering Mechanics. There are 4 public course teaching and research rooms for all students of QUT :mathematics, drawing, mechanics, and college physics. Three Teaching and Research Office of Mathematics, Physics and Mechanics are responsible for undergraduate teaching. The Physics of Experiment Center and the mechanics experiment center are responsible for the experimental teaching of the whole university.  
        The School of Science has two first-level master's degree authorization points in mechanics and physics..Engineering mechanics is a key discipline in Shandong Province, and applied physics is the first batch of first-class professional construction sites in Shandong Province.It has scientific research platforms such as "Shandong Province Mechanics Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center", "Qingdao Key Laboratory of Geotechnical Mechanics and Offshore Underground Engineering", and "Qingdao University of Technology Quantum Physics Laboratory". In the past 5 years, the teachers of the college have presided over more than 170 scientific research projects, including more than 30 national-level projects and more than 50 provincial and ministerial-level projects; More than 200 academic papers are published in authoritative journals at home and abroad in the fields of physics, mechanics, mathematics, etc., including more than 90 papers in the first and second areas of SCI; and 3 academic works; we have respectively won 2 first prizes and second prizes at provincial and ministerial level, 2 Qingdao Science and Technology Awards.
